Boutique Hotel Schloss Hünigen

I stay at this hotel frequently and i really appreciate the staff making me feel like coming home. Happy to see that now there is life again in this special place with events and seminars . The hotel facilities are great , with fitness , wellness , each item on the menue in the restaurant is delicious , and i can enjoy and even late dinner :) Looking forwad enjoying the beautiful terrace and park with the good weather.

We had a great stay in this hotel, a short break of 2 nights in a suite in the old part of the hotel. The wellness was very comfortable, the first day was very relaxing, unfortunately the second day there were some loud people in the wellness what made it a bit less relaxing. The restaurant was very good with great service and lovely menu, we really enjoyed both evenings in your restaurant. The only downside was on Tuesday morning when there was a meeting in the room opposite of our room and the attending people where very loud in the hallway early in the morning. But overall we will definitely recommend this hotel and certainly will return again soon.

This is a nice almost boutique hotel style. The location is really unique and the chateau is stunning. The spa is probably the best we have ever done. The only thing that kind of left us a little bit hawish was the service and overall staff attitude towards us and others that are not of swiss german origin and don't speak Swiss German. We didn't appreciate that aspect and I felt it twice, the time we came with a group for work and it was confirmed when I came back for the week-end with my wife. Oterwise it's a great place to come for a retreat and the breakfast buffet is just 5 star !

1. I did not enjoy having breakfasts at your hotel during my stay. First day - the Chinese group tourists basically vacuumed all the food so there were nothing to eat when I was arriving at the restaurant around 7.30. Second day, they mixed serving spoons so that the food was not clean - i.e watermelon pieces had some yogurt on them. Furthermore there were people eating cup noodles. I would not recommend to my friends stay at your hotel if they cannot enjoy nice food in good relaxing atmosphere. 2. My room was 210. The room was lovely but I hope that you can do something on the floor of the bathroom. They are extremely slippery when I was walking on them in flip flops provided in the room. I nearly fell several times as I kept forgetting that I should have taken off the indoor shoes when entering the bathroom. Apart from these two, I enjoyed staying at your hotel in general. Your staff members were attentive and kind, especially the waitress in the restaurant.
